And the winner of Accenture Accelerator is...

Accenture Accelerator finals were held on December 1st at Slush 2017 with the seven talented finalist teams BankifyAlvardagChoicelyHauser, Smart iNoiseless Acoustics and trio DiskeGetJenny and Klinik. 5-minute pitches were full of interesting demos and impressive results which made it a tough call for the prestigious jury to make the decision.

After a long hard discussion jury announced Noiseless Acoustics as the winner of the 2-month accelerator program. Noiseless Acoustics offers solutions for pre-emptive detection and prevention of problems with their acoustic camera. The collaboration with their corporate partner Wärtsilä has been successful from the day one and it will continue with high expectations.

Kai Saksela, the CEO of Noiseless Acoustics, was really pleased with the program: “I think it was great that the focus was on building the proof of concept with the partner corporation and finding the best solutions both technically and business wise. Our main goal was to tighten up the cooperation with Wärtsilä and to tackle the possible challenges which may come up when a startup and a corporation start working together. I was impressed how all the parties from students to mentors wanted the teams to succeed in their projects.”

Saksela is looking forward how the award trip to one of Accenture’s innovation hubs will turn out: “I hope we are gonna meet interesting people from Accenture and relevant local clients. We will focus on the opportunities to the fullest and believe our solutions will exceed all the expectations.”

On his winning speech Saksela summarizes the whole Accenture Accelerator program: “Compared to other startup programs this accelerator was something else: concrete concept building and piloting instead of just pitching”.

Once more congratulations Noiseless Acoustics and Wärtsilä!
