Avanto Ventures Oy and Atal Incubation Centre, part of India’s leading management institute BIMTECH, have signed a MOU to collaborate in corporate venturing activities.
The aim is to create high-class incubation center with supporting physical infrastructure, equipment and operating facilities, coupled with relevant sector experts for mentoring to help innovators and start-up businesses to grow into successful enterprises.
The parties will jointly identify potential new customers for venturing and incubation by researching and surveying suitable companies and projects.
“The collaboration strengthens Avanto Ventures’ entry to Indian market and opens new possibilities for BIMTECH to offer corporate venturing services to their corporate customers and help incubated start-ups to grow their business,” said Ulla Koivukoski, Head of Avanto Ventures India.
Together, through real life collaborations, the parties aim to showcase how corporate venturing provides insight for strategic directions, access to promising platforms, disruptive technologies and innovation for growth. Part of the initiative is to help Indian corporates in finding suitable CSR start-ups and help BIMTECH - incubated start-ups in accessing European markets.
